You won't find your happiness with another person, you can only find it within yourself, the only thing another person can do is help you find it...or not.

Wow. Was this about me? I hadn't seen it at that point in time. In fact, I only saw it now.
Early indicator, perhaps. Can't help but think that was meant for me.

Looking back, I guess it was an early indicator - which I wasn't aware of at the time.
It wasn't meant for you though, it was meant for me. I realized and found it important to remind myself that I was the one responsible for my own happiness (or unhappiness)...and maybe also that there's a limit to my "powers" regarding another persons happiness. Perhaps I was trying to deal with my feeling of failiure.
